They do seem to have the pieces to make a run at the playoffs and the AFC East, and I hope to God they do it. It’s just been too long. It’s not like they’ve been snake-bitten either. They have just made every bad management and draft decision possible since they chose Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie in 1999.

I agree that the Red Sox should keep everyone, but only if the team plans on firing Valentine and replacing him with someone who these can and will play for. But, if Boston plans on keeping Valentine, than none of these current players are going to work, and the team needs to start some rebuilding, ASAP.
